A family-owned boutique vineyard focused on producing low-yield premium fruit.

La Villa Wines aim to produce wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the Tasmanian cool climate. Owners Marcus and Gail’s passion for food and wine was ignited during their first trip to Italy. After returning there 26 years later, they were inspired by the passion of their artisan friends to develop their own five-hectare vineyard in Tasmania, where Marcus’s family has grown apples and pears for three generations.

At La Villa, the grapes are lovingly grown, hand-pruned and hand-picked before being crafted into premium wine under the watchful eye of winemakers Fran Austin and Shane Holloway. Varietals available to taste include Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Nebbiolo and Savagnin.

Accessibility: accessible bathrooms, entry way and parking; accepts service dogs; has gender-neutral bathrooms.
